The sacred day of Karthika Masa Pournami was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Sri Balagurunadheeswara Swamy Temple. The full moon of the auspicious Karthika month holds deep spiritual significance — it is believed to be the most divine day for worshipping Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, and performing deepa seva (lighting of lamps) for spiritual upliftment.
🕉️ Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam by Mahila Seva Samithi
🙏 A dedicated group of devotees from Bangalore visited the temple and performed the Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam, organized beautifully by the Mahila Seva Samithi. The chanting of the thousand sacred names of Lord Vishnu filled the temple premises with divine vibrations, invoking peace and blessings for all.
🌺 Sri Vari Kolata Brundham – Pournami Special Performance
As part of the Pournami Special celebrations, the talented members of Sri Vari Kolata Brundham performed a graceful and energetic Kolata, offering their art in devotion to the Lord. The rhythmic beats and vibrant steps brought festive joy and spiritual energy to the evening.
🌿 Preamnas (Usiri) Puja and Banyan Tree Deeparadhane
As part of the Karthika Masa observance, devotees performed the sacred Preamnas (Usiri) Puja and Banyan Tree Deeparadhane. Lighting of lamps under the divine Vata Vriksha (Banyan tree) symbolized the dispelling of darkness and the illumination of knowledge and faith. The serene glow of hundreds of lamps created a truly divine experience for all devotees.
